The agenda deadline is the 3rd Monday of the month prior to the scheduled meeting. If the deadline falls on a city observed holiday, the deadline is extended one day.

Overview

The Board is composed of five (5) members appointed by the City Council. The members serve three (3) year staggered terms.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is responsible for interpreting the provisions of the Zoning Code when necessary and for hearing and deciding upon appeals regarding the administration of the Zoning Code. The Board also reviews and makes decisions on requests for special exceptions as specified by the Zoning Code and has the authority to hear and decide applications for variances from the terms of the Zoning Code. Decisions of the Board of Zoning Appeals cannot be appealed to the City Council.
