The agenda deadline is Noon on the 4th Monday of the month prior to the scheduled meeting. If the deadline falls on a city observed holiday, the deadline is extended one (1) day.

Overview

  • The Commission is composed of seven (7) members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority vote of the City Council.
  • The Historic Zoning Commission reviews all requests for the establishment of Historic Districts and reviews and issues Certificates of Appropriateness for all proposals for new construction or rehabilitation in existing Historic Districts.
  • Board was established by Ordinance Number O00-10-35 and was approved by the City Council on November 16, 2000.
  • Terms: Five (5) years staggered (after their first term served).
