The Traffic Enforcement Division is commanded by Captain Brent Anderson and consists of:
- 1 Lieutenant
- 1 Sergeant
- 5 traffic officers
Function
The primary function of the Traffic Enforcement Division is to enforce traffic laws and conduct selective enforcement in areas that are chronic to traffic violations.
Services
Traffic Officers patrol the city by:
- Bicycle
- Motorcycle
- Patrol car
Additionally, these officers are responsible for investigating all traffic fatalities and accidents involving serious injury. The Traffic Enforcement Division is also responsible for:
- Aggressive driving enforcement
- DUI enforcement
- Other traffic-related issues within the city
- Traffic studies
