Officers Responsibilities
Patrol Division officers are responsible for order maintenance and problem-solving in Cookeville. Officers in the Patrol Division are the most visible symbols of Cookeville’s Police Department, and this division is considered the foundation on which other police services are delivered. The Patrol Division is commanded by Captain Darrin Stout.
Special Operations Group (SOG)
The Patrol Division also encompasses the Special Operations Group (SOG), which includes:

- Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT)
