Cane Creek Pickleball Courts

Cane Creek Pickleball Courts are Cookeville’s hub for pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. The facility features eight outdoor courts, including ADA-accessible options, located within Cane Creek Park. Courts are open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM and are available on a first come, first served basis. Whether you’re a casual player or a competitive athlete, these courts provide a safe, fun, and community-focused environment to enjoy one of America’s fastest-growing sports. 

Guidelines

- Courts are for pickleball play only, no other activities are allowed.
Courts are available daily from 7AM–10PM.
- No food or drink on the playing surface; No glass containers allowed.
- Tobacco products, vaping, and alcohol are prohibited on the courts and in the pavilion area.
- Pets are not allowed inside the confines of the pickleball courts or gallery areas.
- Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, etc are prohibited in this area.
- Play at own risk. In case of severe weather, leave the facility until the weather has passed.

Clinics, leagues, and tournaments not approved by Leisure Services are prohibited. To inquire about hosting an event, contact the Athletics Office at athletics@cookeville-tn.gov

In case of a non–emergency with the courts or pavilion, please contact the Athletics Office at 931-526-9767.

In the case of a real emergency call 911.

Court Usage and Rotations

- Courts are available on a first come, first served basis.
During peak playing times when courts are full, and participants are waiting for a court:

a. Games should be played to 11, win by 1.
b. No singles. Only doubles play.
c. As soon as your game ends, please exit quickly to the gallery to allow the next foursome to begin.
d. If you wish to compete again, place your paddle in the paddle rack to be in line to play again.
e. The paddle rack will have an indicator on it to designate the next four in line.

Etiquette: 

a. Treat all players, staff, and spectators with courtesy and respect.
b. While play is going on, please remain in the gallery area if you are not playing.
c. Be attentive and ready to play on your chosen court when it’s your turn. Allow exiting players to clear before taking the court.
d. Do not touch other participants’ paddles.

Safety and Accessibility

Cane Creek Pickleball Courts feature ADA-accessible courts and are designed to ensure safe play for all participants. Players are encouraged to bring water, wear proper footwear, and follow all posted safety instructions.

If courts are not reserved during the reservable time periods, then they are available for open play.

Courts 1 and 5 are ADA courts. ADA participants have priority at all times during open play.

Leisure Services reserves the right to use the courts for clinics, leagues and tournaments.

Those events will be reflected on the schedule.
