The City of Cookeville Department of Water Quality Control will have intermittent lanes closed on Buker Hill Road beginning Monday, February 23rd as a contractor works in the area. The lane closures will occur on Buker Hill Road between Helen Place and Pigeon Roost Creek Road. Traffic will continue to flow using the open lane. For questions, please call 520-5227.

March 5, 2026 - Hold a public hearing and consider on second and final reading Ordinance #O26-02-02, amending the fiscal year 2026 budget for the City of Cookeville, Tennessee

PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all residents of Cookeville, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that Open, Public Regular Meetings of the City Council of Cookeville will be held at the regular meeting place of said Council at the Cookeville Municipal Building, 45 East Broad Street, the first & third Thursdays of each month at 5:30 p.m. throughout the year of 2026. The Council will also hold bi-monthly work sessions on the Monday (unless it falls on a holiday – it will be on the following Tuesday) prior to the Council Meetings at 4:00 p.m. in the same location to review upcoming council meeting agendas and receive other information as required.
There will be considered at such meetings/work sessions all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings/work sessions of the Cookeville City Council.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
