PUBLIC NOTICE - 2026 Yearly Council Meeting Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all residents of Cookeville, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that Open, Public Regular Meetings of the City Council of Cookeville will be held at the regular meeting place of said Council at the Cookeville Municipal Building, 45 East Broad Street, the first & third Thursdays of each month at 5:30 p.m. throughout the year of 2026. The Council will also hold bi-monthly work sessions on the Monday (unless it falls on a holiday – it will be on the following Tuesday) prior to the Council Meetings at 4:00 p.m. in the same location to review upcoming council meeting agendas and receive other information as required.  

 

There will be considered at such meetings/work sessions all matters which may properly be considered at regular meetings/work sessions of the Cookeville City Council.

 

This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
