How do I pay a ticket?

If you received your ticket for a moving traffic violation (e.g. speeding, traffic light, stop sign, failure to yield, etc.) you may pay the non-appearance amount shown on your ticket, and you will not have to attend court. That amount must be paid prior to the scheduled court date stated on your ticket. You may pay in person at the Cookeville Police Department at 1O East Broad Street (in the lower level of the Cookeville Performing Arts Center across the street from the Broad Street Post Office) or at the City Court Clerk’s office in the Cookeville Municipal Building. Those offices are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may also mail your check or money order made payable to the City of Cookeville to:

Cookeville City Court
45 E. Broad Street
Cookeville, TN 38503

We accept Checks, Cash, Money Orders or Debit Cards inside the building. Credit cards or online payments are not yet available.
