Term Resolution

Resolution Number R94-02-02 adopted on February 17, 1994 changed Council term from 3 to 4 years, and no Council member shall serve more than two consecutive four-year terms. Passed by referendum on June 16, 1994.

Purpose

The City of Cookeville operates as a Council / City Manager form of government. The Cookeville City Council serves the citizens as representatives at large as there are no district divisions within the City.
