Cane Creek Recreation Center to Host Self-Defense Workshop
COOKEVILLE, TN – Cane Creek Recreation Center is hosting a Self-Defense Workshop that offers community members an opportunity to learn self-defense techniques. The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 29th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cane Creek Recreation Center. Participants will be introduced to fundamental self-defense principles in a learning environment designed to accommodate various skill levels.
The workshop is structured to be accessible to individuals with varying levels of physical ability and flexibility. The focus is on practical techniques.
"This workshop offers an opportunity for individuals to learn about self-defense in a supportive, friendly environment," stated Sally Herren, the Recreation Programmer for The City of Cookeville Leisure Services.
The class will be led by Sensei West who has been participating in martial arts for over 15 years.
