Leisure Services Youth Volleyball League Registration is Open
[Cookeville, Tn] – The Leisure Services Department is excited to announce the opening of
registration for the LS Youth Volleyball League 2025. This dynamic youth program is accepting enrollees through Friday, January 3, 2025.
The league will host an evaluation day on Saturday, January 4, 2025, with practices
commencing the week of January 13, 2025. Participants can look forward to a fun-filled season
that includes a jamboree on Saturday, January 25, 2025, and the regular season games starting
Saturday, February 1, 2025. The season will culminate in a postseason tournament.
“We’re so excited for this program!” Says Lori Medlin, Athletic Coordinator at the Cane Creek
Gymnasium. “Volleyball is a growing sport for all age groups, and we’re happy to bring an
avenue for kids to play and learn.”
The program is designed for boys and girls aged 7-15, with participants divided into three
divisions: Training (Ages 7-9), College (Ages 10-12), and Pro (Ages 13-15). The age cut-off date
will adhere to the Putnam County School System’s standard of August 15 of the current school
Year. Registration is $50 with sibling discounts available.
Sponsorships are available. Team Sponsor Fee (Uniform sponsor) is $200 per team, Facility Sponsor Fee (Signage displayed in gym) is $250, and Combo Sponsor Fee (Uniform and gym signage) is $400.
The LS Youth Volleyball League will take place at the Cane Creek Gymnasium, providing a
fantastic venue for participants to enhance their skills and enjoy the sport.
