The westbound lane of East 10th Street will close at 11 a.m. today as a building is transported from Cookeville Highschool to Hwy 111. This lane closure extends from Old Kentucky Road west to North Washington and will last for approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
The eastbound lane of E. 10th Street will remain open, but traffic will be slowed by the transport of the building. We advise drivers to use alternative routes when travelling through this area.
Drivers should also anticipated delays along North Washington Avenue, from Cookeville High School to East 10th Street, while the building is being transported. Thank you for your patience.
