Street resurfacing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, through Friday, August 23, in the area of Cookeville north of East Broad Street and west of Washington Avenue. The resurfacing is being carried out by Rogers Group, Inc. as contractors with the City of Cookeville.
The following four streets will be affected:
- Fisk Road (from East Broad Street to East 6th Street)
- Freeze Street (from North Maple Avenue to North Ferguson Avenue)
- North Pickard Avenue (from East Broad Street to Winterhill Drive)
- Womack Avenue (from East Broad Street to East 6th Street)
Weather permitting, Rogers Group plans to complete resurfacing of the above streets on Friday, August 23. Drivers in this area should plan their routes accordingly.
