PUBLIC NOTICE

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all residents of Cookeville, Tennessee, and to all persons interested that, to protect the health, safety, and welfare of Tennesseans in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, as authorized by Executive Order 60, beginning October 1, 2020 and until further notice, the Open, Public Regular Meetings/Work Sessions of the Cookeville City Council may, if deemed appropriate, be conducted via electronic means. 

Unless notice is given otherwise, the Cookeville City Council meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Cookeville Municipal Building, 45 E. Broad St.  To promote social distancing, public access to meetings will be limited.  Agendas, live stream broadcast, and meeting videos can be accessed at www.cookeville-tn.gov.

Open, Public Regular Meetings of the Cookeville City Council conducted via electronic means may be accessed by calling 1-301-715-8592 & entering meeting ID 3086713762. 

            There will be considered at such meetings/work sessions all matters which may properly be considered at Open, Regular Meetings/Work Sessions of the Cookeville City Council.

            This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-108, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
