[ARCHIVED] Cane Creek Park mountain bike trail closed temporarily due to storm damage

COOKEVILLE – Cane Creek Park’s mountain bike trail is temporarily closed due to damage from Friday night’s storm.

“Multiple trees are down,” Cane Creek Park Manager Dennis Woolbright said. “It could take two to three weeks to clear the trail.”

The mountain bike trail, which opened in the fall of 2016, extends approximately 2 ½ miles through a wooded area north of the park’s lake.

The unpaved, natural surface trail is used by cyclists, as well as walkers and runners. When weather and trail conditions are favorable, it is open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk.

Cane Creek Park is located at 201 C C Camp Road.
