[ARCHIVED] City of Cookeville Offers E-Billing to Utility Customers

The City of Cookeville is making it even easier for residents to manage their utility bills with electronic billing, or E-Billing. With E-billing, customers have the option of receiving bills electronically by email, a more convenient and eco-friendly way to stay on top of monthly payments.

Benefits of E-bill include:

  • Fast and secure email delivery of utility bills
  • 24/7 online access to billing information
  • Automatic reminders to help avoid missed payments
  • Reduced paper waste in our community

Signing up is simple. Customers can visit https://billing.cookeville-tn.gov/mscp/auth/login. Those without an online account can easily create one. Just select the E-Bill option and enter your preferred email address.

In addition to E-Billing, the City also offers a free automatic bank draft service. By submitting a bank draft form with a voided check, customers can have their payment automatically drafted on the due date each month. Automatic bank drafts eliminate late fees and offer peace of mind to utility customers.

“Going paperless is a win-win,” say Finance Director Jenni Nisewander. “It’s easier for customers, it’s more secure, and it helps reduce waste in our community. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this free service.”

For questions or assistance with enrollment, customers can call 931-520-5219 or email cs@cookeville-tn.gov
