Please join us in congratulating Jenni Nisewander on her first official day as Finance Director of the City of Cookeville!
Jenni brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University (TTU) and a Master of Business Administration from TTU. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO).
Before joining the City of Cookeville, Jenni spent nearly 15 years at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) on Arnold Air Force Base in TN, where she worked in accounting. She has been with the City of Cookeville since 2022, gaining valuable municipal finance experience as our City's Assistant Finance Director.
City Manager James Mills expressed confidence in her leadership, stating:
