FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sounds of Summer Concert Series Continues

COOKEVILLE, TN – The City of Cookeville's Sounds of Summer concert series continues this July and August with a full schedule of free live music events at the Dogwood Performance Pavilion.

The series began with successful events at June’s Third Thursdays Live concerts, featuring Melissa Ellis and the Fellas in May and Carrie Schneider in June. This series will continue with two more performances: The Sofia Goodman Group on July 17 and Hannah Dasher on August 21. These concerts take place on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Additional Sounds of Summer performances include two Cookeville Community Band concerts on July 7 and July 21. The Big Band Sound Orchestra will perform on August 4 and August 18. These concerts are also at the Dogwood Performance Pavilion at 7:30 PM.

“All of our performers bring something different to the stage, and it’s exciting to see our community come together for these evenings of live music,” said Rachel Wingo, Cultural Arts Superintendent. “We’re proud to offer a lineup of free concerts that appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.”

All concerts are free and open to the public.
