East Spring Street, from Watauga Road to Skyline Drive, will be closed Thursday, May 22, for essential street repairs. This section of street will close from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.
All truck traffic should detour via HWY 111 and Dry Valley Road and all other traffic will be rerouted around the closure via:
- Watauga Road
- Springboro Road
- Whitson Chapel Road
The roadway is expected to reopen around 8:00 a.m. However, if the worksite is deemed unsafe, the closure may extend until later.
