Beginning Wednesday, April 23, vehicles traveling along East 10th Street should anticipate significant lane shifts in the area between Wilson Avenue and Fisk Road.
As Phase II of the East 10th Street Widening Project continues, the City’s contractors at Rogers Group plan to shift the traffic pattern and begin paving on the north side of the street
Once work begins on Wednesday, both west and eastbound traffic will shift to the two southernmost lanes. Traffic barrels and cones will be placed to navigate drivers through the new lane-shifts.
Drivers should continue to be mindful of temporary traffic stops. At times, workers may need to use one or both lanes to move equipment and other materials to new areas of the work site. Most traffic stops will be mere minutes in length.
