The portion of Shag Rag Road between Bowser Road and Reserve Drive will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 22, through Friday, Jan. 24. The road will close each day at approximately 8:05 a.m. and reopen at 2:55p.m. to accommodate school traffic.
During the hours of closure, the street will be cut across and a new water line installed. All traffic should avoid this area between 8:05 a.m. - 2:55 p.m. While the road is closed, drivers are advised to use Reserve Drive, Mountain View Drive, and Bowser Roads as alternative routes. Road plates will be utilized each afternoon to allow traffic to traverse the road after 2:55 p.m.
