As we enter the leaf collection season, please remember the following important safety rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe pickup process.
Important Safety Guidelines:
Place leaves as close to the curb or side of the street as possible.
Do NOT place leaves in ditches, or around structures such as mailboxes, meter lids, utility poles, or wires.
Do NOT place leaves in the street – this can create a traffic hazard.
Only leaves, please! Foreign debris (sticks, trash, etc.) in leaf piles can damage the collection machinery, and your leaves will not be picked up if debris is found.
Collection Timeline:
Loose leaves will be collected from November through March 15.
After March 15th, please bag all leaves for pickup. Call 520-5201 to arrange pickup.
Loose leaves are collected every 3-4 weeks, weather permitting. No call-ins are necessary for regular collection from November to March 15.
To ensure your leaves are collected during the final rotation, please have them ready by the last week in February.
