With the new EPA rules in place, the City of Cookeville is required to complete a Lead Service Line Inventory. The City will Inventory the City-owned portion; however, the City requests assistance to identify the customer-owned portion through link included All homes constructed prior to July 1988 will need to be inventoried for the service line material. There are 4 types of material classification: Lead, Galvanized, Copper, Plastic (PVC, PEX, etc.) and unknown.
