The Cookeville Police Department and the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation have a new way for officers and the public to support the foundation's Pink Ribbon Program.
CPD officers, including K-9s like Officer Michael McDonald's dog, Sofi, and Victims Services Coordinator Tara Bates' dog, Watson, are already wearing the patches, which are available for purchase for $20 each. The Pink Ribbon Program provides funding for women who might not otherwise be able to afford it
to receive mammograms for early breast cancer detection.
The patches are available at the hospital foundation office at 127 N. Oak St. as well as Cookeville Police Department Headquarters located at 1019 Neal St. in Cookeville.
