Sale and Removal of Houses
at 3631 Old Bridge Road and 3775 Old Sparta Road

The City of Cookeville will receive Sealed Bids for the Sale and Removal of houses located at 3631 Old Bridge Road and 3775 Old Sparta Road. Bids will be received until 10:00 am, Monday, February 13, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All bidders are required to be licensed contractors in accordance with the State of Tennessee Board of Contractors Act. The successful bidder will be required to provide certificates of insurance (liability, property, workman's compensation) in the amounts prescribed by the City of Cookeville. Liability Insurance coverage shall not be less than $1,000,000.
The work will consist of, but not be limited to, the complete removal of the houses located at the above addresses, removal of all debris, clean-up of the area, traffic control during the term of the contract, and installation of safety measures to protect workers and the general public. The houses shall be moved from the locations, not demolished. Contact the office of the City Manager for appointment times to inspect the houses.

No bids will be received or accepted after the above-specified time for the opening of the bids.
The successful bidder will be required to remove the houses from the site within three (3) months of the bid opening.
The City of Cookeville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities.
