The City of Cookeville Department of Leisure Services and Public Facilities will hold a public meeting Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Cane Creek Recreation Center for the purpose of receiving public input and comment on the potential development of the land adjacent to the Recreation Center/Gymnasium. The City is seeking a BlueCross Healthy Place grant to assist in funding amenities that were identified in the 2021 Recreation Master Plan including an accessible playground, a splash pad, a fitness court, pickleball and tennis courts, multi-purpose fields, and restrooms, pavilions and access features.
