PUBLIC NOTICE

COOKEVILLE CITY COUNCIL

SPECIAL CALLED SESSION

              Notice is hereby given to the residents of Cookeville, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that the Cookeville City Council will meet in special called session, via electronic means, on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 5:00pm.  The following item will be discussed:  

•  Request the City Manager to retain outside legal counsel to assist members of the City Council in investigating the legality and or appearance of impropriety of the Mayor being hired as a high-level employee with the City owned Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

              There will be considered at such session all matters which may properly be considered at regular sessions of the Cookeville City Council.

              This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-108, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
