COOKEVILLE CITY COURT
ORDER REGARDING FACE COVERINGS
IN RE: SUPREME COURT OF TENNESSEE ORDER NO. ADM2020-00428
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, and pursuant to the above referenced Supreme Court of Tennessee Order
NO.ADM2020-00428, all persons who, for the purpose of conducting business with the Cookeville City
Court or Cookeville City Court Clerk enter the Cookeville Municipal Building or other building in which
court facilities are located, or in which Cookeville Municipal Court shall be conducted shall wear a face
covering over the nose and mouth. The face covering shall be worn at all times while inside the
building. There are exceptions from the requirements of the Order for certain individuals listed in the
Order, and the Cookeville Municipal Court Judge shall have the discretion to determine whether
persons who cannot wear a face covering should not be required to wear one.
