PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to the residents of Cookeville, Tennessee, and to all persons interested, that the Cookeville City Council will meet in special called session in the Municipal Building, 45 East Broad Street, on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. Items to be discussed have been revised and will include the following: Consider approval of the bid for the construction of the Police Department Headquarters as submitted by W&O Construction and authorizing the City Manager to issue a notice to proceed with construction and execute the change order to the contract effecting the same - Police Department; Authorize City Manager to take bids and recommend purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Police Department Headquarters in an amount not to exceed $1.75 million – Police Department; Consider approval of Change Order #1 on the 2020 Willow Avenue Water Improvement Project, lowering 8-in. water line for Police Department Headquarters - Water Quality Control Department; Consider Resolution #R20-07-01, Expressing Support and Appreciation for the Cookeville Police Department and other Local Law Enforcement Agencies.
There will be considered at such session all matters which may properly be considered at regular sessions of the Cookeville City Council.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-108, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated.
