Cookeville Electric Department energized the second new power transformer at East Cookeville Substation this morning. The two new units are operating in parallel and load that was previously transferred to other Cookeville Substations has now been switched back to East Cookeville.
We are pleased that this 15 month project is complete and East Cookeville Substation has been basically returned to normal.
