🚧 Stevens Street Recycling Site Update 🚧
Beginning Monday, February 16, 2026, the City of Cookeville Public Works Department will begin demolition at the Stevens Street recycling site in preparation for redevelopment of the site.
For safety reasons, the front entrance off Stevens Street will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while construction crews are on site.
Residents can still access the recycling center through the rear entrance off Baron Court. To reach this entrance, travel east at the traffic light at the intersection of East Jackson Street and Baron Court (see map).
