Traffic Update – New Signal Activated
The City of Cookeville has completed the installation of temporary traffic signals at the intersection of Henley Drive and S. Jefferson Avenue (near Sam’s Club).
This comes as part of efforts to reduce congestion caused by the temporary closure of Bunker Hill Road at S. Jefferson Ave. With quick coordination between the City and TDOT, crews from the Public Works Traffic Division and Cookeville Energy Department worked together to install and prepare the signal.
On Thursday, October 9, at 3:30 PM, the signal will go into full operation in all four directions of travel.
