The outermost southbound lane of South Willow Avenue will be closed on Thursday, August 14, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Contractors from Rogers Group, Inc will be on site to complete street resurfacing at the West Stevens Street tie-in on South Willow Avenue. This work is part of the City of Cookeville's Stevens Street Improvement Project.
During the closure, southbound traffic will shift into the inner southbound lane, beginning at Short Street and ending just past the Country Bumpkin. Rogers Group will provide cones, signage, and flaggers to guide motorists safely through the work zone.
Adverse weather conditions may affect this schedule. If delays occur, the lane closure could extend overnight and into the morning of August 15.
