Per Title 11, Chapter 2, Section 11-202 (PDF) of the City of Cookeville Municipal Code a special noise permit shall be granted for limited exceptions from the provisions of this section. A Special Noise Permit Application (PDF) must be completed by the applicant and turned in to the City of Cookeville Police Department (1019 Neal St.). After approval by the City of Cookeville Police Department and the City Manager, approved applications will forward to the City of Cookeville Tax Department and a permit will be issued.
