Payment Options

Automatic Bank Draft

Customers may arrange to have their bill payments electronically debited from their bank accounts on the next due date. Any payment refused by the financial institution as non-payable will be assessed a returned check charge, unless the return was due to bank error. An electronic bank draft payment form must be submitted along with a voided check or deposit slip with imprinted routing and bank account numbers before an account can be added to bank draft status.

Credit Card / Online Payments

We now offer customers the convenience of paying their utility bill online using a credit or debit card. Start managing and paying your bill online now.

Cookeville City Hall

For your convenience, we have a drive through window for utility bill payment and a night depository for after hours payments. Bills may be paid Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 45 East Broad Street. Payment may also be made by mailing to:

Payment by Debit Card

Visa and MasterCard debit cards are accepted as valid forms of payment in person at City Hall.
